EAGLE RANCH QUILTS

The Hall County Quilt Guild makes twin size quilts for the children of Eagle Ranch. The children pick a quilt of their choosing when they arrive and take the quilt home with them at the end of their stay.  The guild has kits ready cut with patterns.  You can pick one up at the guild meeting or contact Peggy Johnson.

This is an ongoing project for the guild.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

Our guild makes different projects for nursing homes and those in need.   Projects change every few months.

Currently, we are working on chemo comfort pillows for cancer patients in Hall County and walker caddies for Manor Lake Nursing Home.  We will have kits and patterns for both projects at the Guild meetings and Project Days – see Connie Murphy.

A free pattern for comfort pillows is available through Connecting Threads at http://www.connectingthreads.com.

 QUILTS FOR KIDS

We make small 36″ by 48″ quilts  for “Quilts For Kids” organization. This is a separate charity that any member can participate in.  Lisa Viera is the Chairperson.  You can contact Lisa at NortheastGAQ4K@gmail.com for more information or to help.
